Fall Inspiration: A Moody Room
Confession time: I’ve never really been that into Fall! Most of my friends, family, and the rest of the population are obsessed with the season, but for most of my life, it’s been meh to me. When September rolls around, the days get shorter, and you feel a chill in the mornings, I usually end up longing for more sun and the chance to throw on an easy dress and sandals for a day lounging at the pool.
Well, that was the old me and over the past few years and now having experienced Fall with my children, I’ve really grown to appreciate this season. It means more time for cozy nights (and days) in, picking apples and baking something yummy, building a fire, and overall slowing down to enjoy these moments.
And what better way to enjoy cozy autumn moments at home with family than with a moody room. Here are a few of my fall favorites that I’ve rounded up. I’m especially loving olive greens right now. What do we think of this for an office/living room at the front of my house? I’m not loving our current taupe-y color and am ready for a change in time for the new Fall season.
